Don't We Need Management Research Any More?

As researched and discussed by Gerald F. Davis in Harvard Business Review whether the discipline of management need research any more or otherwise. As per Web of Knowledge,  over 8,000 articles are published every year in the 170+ journals in the field of “Management" making the discipline of management more crowded. Whether this crowd is good or it is making the management discipline a more overwritten subject serving its objectives or otherwise.  All this is what is needed to be considered while opting for undertaking the task of management research.

Now-a-days the management is coming across newer dimensions of decision taking process, all this makes the management research justified for its advent.

On the other side, being the subject matter of humanity and general domain, it need no research but it need interpretation rather.
All which could further be researched is very well we have today in management itself, what we need is its interpretation having focus on all contemporary business scenarios of decision making.

What Is Management Research Actually Good For? can be given a read to know more on the discussion. The conclusion is left on the accord of the readers.
